We have always been crazy about Boston Terriers or Bostonians as we love to call
them! They are truly a delightful breed, but sometimes hard to keep up
with. Even as “senior citizens” they keep us on our
toes. Mimi Roberta Neidig joined our family in December 1994. She
was brought to us as a 5 week old puppy, weighing just 2.2 pounds. Although
she was tiny, she was very feisty and quickly grew. Today at 12 years of
age she is still going strong. Always a character, she certainly has a
special place in our family. Elizabeth Claire, aka “Claire”,
was adopted from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in Des Moines in 1997. She
is truly a ball fanatic and loves to retrieve anything that squeaks. Of
course, the squeaking doesn't last long, as Claire's main mission is to destroy the
enemy, the squeaker! At almost 9 years of age, Claire remains very active
and loves to take walks everyday. Her claim to fame was having our gift
store named after her “E. Claire and Company”.
